If you're looking for a new photo app to use the next time you go on vacation, you may want to choose Google+.
That's right, we said Google+.
Google updated the iOS version of the app Tuesday to include Stories, the service's automatic scrapbooking tool, and added advanced photo-editing features. The new editing tools enable users to fine-tune their images without leaving the Google+ app and include controls for adjusting lighting, color and focus area.
"With these Snapseed-inspired tools you can crop, rotate, add filters and 1-tap enhancements like Drama, Retrolux, and HDR Scape, and more," the company wrote in a Google+ post.
The app will also sync your work across devices, so you can start editing on your iPhone and finish later on the iPad. And all edits are non-destructive, meaning you can revert to the original photo at any time during the editing process.
Once you've edited your photos you can add them to your Stories. The tool, which first rolled out to Google+ on the web last month, automatically creates a digital scrapbook of your photos when you return from a vacation.
When photos are backed up to Google+, the app uses your location history, photos' geotags and Google's Auto Awesome tool to automatically find the best photos from your trip and combines them into an interactive travelogue chronicling your travels.
Stories are automatically created within 24 hours from returning from a trip but users can edit and share them after they are created.
