If you own an iPhone or iPad, then Apple TV would seem like a logical step toward cord-cutting. However, other devices such as the Xbox One and Amazon Fire TV have cool features that let you scroll through content using voice commands and hand gestures.

Chromecast is another great cable alternative, and rumor has it that Google will be premiering an even better set-top option at their annual conference: Android TV.
